After entering in DTH market and then getting fashioned in Mobile Handsets Marketing the Videocon group is now going on with its GSM Mobile Operator services. The Company had set to launch is SIM services in major states of the country in this quarter. According to the official company has managed to get licence of 18 years from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to provide service till 2028.

      The company earlier had launched its Gsm services in Coimbatore few days ago and then got its launch in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The services will be available from 27^th of March in Chennai Telecom sector. The Company officials are targeting cheap calls to boost its revenue so had got a wide range of promotional offers with the SIM.

       If you buy a Videocon GSM SIM Card which is rated at Rs. 49/- only, you get a Talktime of 5 Rupees, as you have to get it charged with FRC (First Recharge Card) which costs 31 Rupees you will a talk time of 25 rupees and as a promotional gift you will also be gifted with the Talk value of 75 rupees and A free Tariff of Pay Per Second is also activated with the FRC.

Videocon has acquired the licence of all 23 circles in India to expand its services but in real time they are approaching to major states like Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana and Mumbai Telecom circles. Services here will be active soon. As the key players like Vodafone, Airtel and Idea are struggling in these states with tough competition from new comer Docomo its is set to be more heavy this time if Videocon will get in through.
In future Videocon wants to be in top-3 Mobile Service providers so they will be investing about 14,000 crore Rupees in the Telecom market to get the roots right. They will get a plan which will be cheaper than 1 paise per second plan. Also the SMS services will also be improved and customised in few weeks.
